Where it falls short
The acquisition changes what you're evaluating. Commure sells its own scribe products and publishes its own comparison content across this category. Whether Augmedix continues as a distinct product, gets folded into Commure's line, or is wound down is a question to put directly to the vendor before signing anything.
Human review costs money and time. It's more expensive than pure AI and slower than real-time. As AI-only scribes have improved, the value of the hybrid model has narrowed.
No published pricing. Enterprise sales only, with no public figures at all — less visibility than Abridge or DeepScribe, where at least estimates circulate.
Human review has privacy implications. People read your patients' clinical conversations. That's a disclosure and consent question distinct from cloud processing, and worth raising explicitly.
